ZARA + KAREN MILLEN HAUL 2022 – New In My Wardrobe

Hi loves and welcome back to my blog. We’ve got a massive Zara and Karen Millen haul. It’s been a while since, we’ve done a haul to be honest, these are just things that I’ve been buying recently for my wardrobe. I’m actually so excited about most of the pieces in this blog. I think it’s because I just love autumn fashion. Let’s get started!

KAREN MILLEN Check Military Longline Blazer

First up, Let’s talk about this blazer from Karen Millen. I absolutely love it. This is a long-line blazer, which is long enough for me. I’m five foot ten, so I’m quite tall, and sometimes blazers can fit me a little awkwardly. But this one is the perfect length on me. I got this in a size 12, I sized up one. I’m normally an eight to ten, I sized up to 12 because I wanted it to be a little bit oversized but not too much. I’ve actually belted it in the pic because I like the way it looks belted as well. I love it. It’s very classic. I feel like I’m going to get a ton of wear out of it.

Next up, let’s talk about the trousers . I’m actually wearing them with the blazer. They have this double, thick band at the top. I’m so happy to have them in black. They literally came this morning, I put them straight on. I just know I can style this up in so many different ways. I sized up in these, I got a 10. I got an eight in my white ones, it still fits me, I just wanted a little bit of extra room because the eight, when you put them on. They’re really tight. I thought, let me go for the 10, it also gives me a little bit of extra length as well.

Next up, my favorite product from this haul. I’m buying it because I love it so much. The fit, it’s just perfect in all the ways. To be honest, I was hoping, I did a page order, I was hoping I wouldn’t like it all. So, I could send some things back, but I just love it all, this is my favorite part. When I pulled it out. I tried it on, it’s just long as well. It’s perfect the fit, the colors. It’s just fab.

I just think it’s quite different, quite a statement coat. So underneath, you could literally just be all black, but you could still feel styled or stylish, whatever you want to call it. I just love that about it because you could wear such simple outfits underneath. I got this in a size 10. I went true to size on this, it fits absolutely perfectly.

KAREN MILLEN Military Tailored Mini Dress

Next up, we’re going to talk about this little black dress from Karen Millen. I’ve got this dress in a few different colors just because it fits me really well. I really like the skirt on it. It’s got pleating in the skirt. It fits really nicely at the waist. It’s got little pockets and a high neck. I just feel like it’s a very easy go-to. I’ve got it in neutral colors as well, I just find it very easy to style up. You can chuck a blazer over it, sometimes I even put jumpers over the top and put a belt on it, so it just looks like a skirt.

 Many different ways you can wear these. When I worked in an office, I used to wear them to the office for afterwards drinks. I feel like they’re quite versatile. You can be in the office, then you can also be on a night out. It works for either. I just think it’s perfect with a little belt. You can wear it with some tights and flats or boots—whatever you want to wear it with. It’s just very easy. It’s such a good thing to have in my wardrobe.

Next up, something different from me. I wouldn’t normally go for this look. Look how glitzy it is on the camera. I can literally see it shining. I just haven’t seen anything like it. You know, when it’s party season coming up. I always love a nice top that you can style up, wear with jeans or trousers. I just think it’s good if you’ve got an event or something. You can just chuck on a really nice top and slick your hair back. I feel like this is a good one. It’s actually a bodysuit, really nice quality on this.

It’s got the high neck, zip-up back. The bodysuit actually fits my body as well, which is quite rare for me. The arms are long enough. I just thought it was quite different and a really nice piece to add for the party season.

ZARA Knit Skater Dress Black

Next up, we’re going to do with Zara. We’re going to start with this little black dress. It’s just a super soft material, long-sleeved, it’s got a nice collar on it It’s got the A-line skirt. It’s just quite different to anything they’ve got. Would be nice with tights and flats, probably like a really good office dress again.

I wouldn’t really wear this on a night out, whereas the other one I do like. Again, I wanted to include it, because I just thought it was really lovely. But it is a little bit short as well, whether the other one’s probably the perfect length. So I may send this back, but let me know what you think when I’ve got it on.

ZARA Plaid Bustier Top in Taupe Brown

We prefer a similar problem with this. I love it so, so much when I saw it on the Zara site. I just love it. I really like the pattern. The buttons are really good on this. I just really liked it. Anyway, long story short, I really struggled to style it. As I was trying to find things to wear with it for the pic, I really struggled, which makes me think if I keep it, I’m gonna keep struggling every time. I want to wear it or figure out a way to style it. I don’t really normally struggle, but I really did with this.

I think it’s because it’s quite long length. I didn’t know which trousers to wear. I tried it with gray trousers, it didn’t look right. I didn’t really like it with black trousers either. So I went for a white shirt in the end, but I just am thinking now, even as I’m telling you guys, if I struggled to style it, then I’m probably gonna struggle to style it in general. So, I probably should send it back, but I really like it. Let me know what you think on this as well. I am keeping the rest of the stuff, so these two are the kind of bits I was unsure about. But yeah, let me know what you think. I do really like this, but I don’t know if it or any ideas why you think I should actually style this with, because I do really want to keep it. It’s just a little bit awkward.

ZARA RAGLAN SLEEVE CROPPED KNIT SWEATER

Next up, we have this little camel jumper. I’ve got a similar camel jumper you might have seen if you follow me on any platform. It’s quite thin material, so when I wear a shirt underneath, you can kind of see the shirt crease in underneath the jumper because it’s so thin. So I really wanted a thicker version, Zara’s come through. This is perfect, also the perfect length as well to see that shirt just underneath and for the shirt to come over the collar, which I love. I love that look at the minute. So this is quite a thick, weighty material.

I got this in a size small. I forgot to mention I got the other two bits in a size small as well,  I just think this is so nice, style so many different ways. You can pair it with the black trousers. I showed you earlier, or even with the little white shirt underneath and a little skirt. There’s a ton of different ways you can wear it, I’m just loving this color at the minute.  I’m loving this color with my hair color at the minute. You can’t even really see it in this lighting, It is a little bit more fiery. I just love it with this color.

ZARA TAILORED BLAZER WITH SWEETHEART NECKLINE

Next up, this is new from Zara. I absolutely love this. I got this in a small, similar front to the other one, like it’s got the little nice neckline and the buttons. It’s got a nice shoulder pad, the neckline just looks really good when you’ve got it on. It just cuts really, really well on the neck. It fits me perfectly. I pop the waist belt with this just because I love always felt.

You’ll see me wear a waist belt with mostly everything because I do love putting things in at the waist, it just looks good without as well. Like some black trousers, you could even wear this with jeans, tons of different ways. This would also be a good one like office after party. If you’ve got the office and then a party, this would also be a good one. I just love this style of them. I think it’s super smart, but it’s also nice.

Zara Striped Knit Sweater

Lastly, we’re going to talk about this stripy knit. I have got two other stripy knits in my wardrobe. But I don’t have quite a weighty one. I like the material, they’re not going to keep me as warm. Obviously, with the weather changing, especially in London, I do need something a little bit thicker now, I didn’t have like a waist one, this is perfect.

I got this in a medium because I did want that oversized look. I did want these to be black, I wasn’t sure online whether they were cream and black or cream and navy. It’s so hard to tell, isn’t it? And they are actually navy, but I do still really like it, so I’m probably going to keep this one.
