Workwear Haul Spring 2023 – Chic Office Outfits

Hi loves and welcome back to my Blog. Today, we’ve got a huge officewear haul, and I absolutely love doing these Blogs because I know how hard it is to find office outfits, and you really don’t know what to wear. The Amalfi Stripe Silk Shirt

First up, we are going to talk about this striped shirt. This is 100% Mulberry silk, and there are so many different ways you can wear this one. There are a few different ways you can wear it because I feel like when you’re investing in a piece like this, you need to get multiple ways out of it. This is super versatile. I feel like a blue and white shirt is a must-have for spring, especially when you’re talking about office wear. I actually got this in a size small, and I get a size small for most of the Lily silk products. I just find the fit on that’s perfect for me, and I’m 5’10” and around an eight to ten.

Next up, we’re going to talk about this little cream roll neck. The short sleeves are perfect for spring. This is 90% silk and 10% cashmere, a really luxurious feel for this one. Again, there are so many different ways you can wear this, and I am going to show you a few in the cutaways, obviously, because if you are invested in this again, you really need to get multiple ways out of this. But this is such a timeless piece. It’s never going to go out of style, and it’s so easy for the office. Again, I got this in a size small. I probably could have gone even a little bit smaller, to be honest, but this is really comfy, and maybe if I went smaller, it wouldn’t have been as comfy.

Timeless Pleated Wide-Leg Dense Silk Trousers

Next up, we’re going to talk about one of my other favorite pieces from this haul. I noticed these Mulberry silk trousers. I didn’t even realize you could make trousers out of 100% Mulberry silk, but it seems like you can, and they are so soft and so comfy. I’m actually really tall, 5’10”, so I do sometimes struggle with trousers. They’re never long enough for me, but these actually fit really lovely. I wouldn’t be able to wear them with heels, but to be honest, I wouldn’t wear heels to the office anyway. I always wear flats. I’ll show you a little bit of a close-up there.

I’ve got belt loops, so you can pop a belt in there if you wanted to. And the clasp—they’re hidden, so you can’t see any of the hardware. I got these in a size 10. To be honest, I feel like I probably could have got the eight, but the 10 fits well. But I do need a belt with them, so I could have probably gone eight as well in these.

Next up, we have this cream 100% Mulberry silk shirt, and I wanted to get a cream, like, champagne color one because I actually haven’t got anything like this. I’ve got a ton of white shirts, but not anything like this ivory color. So I thought it would look nice with the navies and stuff. I feel like I always wear white shirts, so I just thought it would be nice to have something a little bit different. This one’s actually a little bit longer than the blue suit.

You could wear it out as well, maybe with some white jeans if your office is a little bit more casual. I have tried to do a mixture of casual and dress, even though it’s so hard because everyone’s office is different. I got this in a size small. I feel like it fits perfectly. I did want that a little bit of an oversized look just so I can wear it tucked in and out. And I feel like when you tuck it out, it’s always nice to have a little bit longer.

Next up, we’re going to talk about this cream dress. I think it’s perfect for the office for spring/summer, especially summer, to be honest. It feels so nice and so comfortable but still thick enough so it’s not see-through. Lovely length on this. Obviously, I’m 5’10”, I know I mentioned, but this comes to a really nice length on me. I actually popped this with a little waist belt as well, which is also from Lily silk. I’ve been wearing it a ton. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve already seen it, so I’ll talk about that next. I was actually on a search for about this color for such a long time. So you could also wear this off the shoulder, I think, like if you pulled it slightly. I did try it, but I feel like for the office, you wouldn’t want it off the shoulder. You’d want it all. So that’s what I’ve showed you in the pic.

The best I’m wearing that pic. I just wanted to show you a little bit of a close-up. I absolutely love the color on it. I’ve been looking for something forever like this. I love the little gold hardware in the front, but the tie is actually like on the side. The clasp is on the side, so you do it, and then you kind of move around if that makes sense. So nice. And they have this in multiple colors as well.

Tall Mix & Match Slim Straight Suit Trousers

Next up, these are very new to my wardrobe. I actually got these this week, and I’ve worn them twice already. These are from ASOS tall, and I do struggle with getting trousers that are long enough for me. Obviously, I said earlier, I’m five foot ten, so when something actually comes a pair of trousers, and I look down, and it’s got extra material at the bottom and it’s long enough to leave the shoe on, it just feels so grateful. I’m like, yes, I finally found a nice pair of trousers. And I love a wide-leg trouser at the minute. They’ve also got the belt loops, so you can wear a belt with them. I got these in a size UK 10 tall. The waist is a little bit big for me, but obviously, because I can wear a belt, it’s fine. If I would have got the eight, the size would have been too tight. So I have to buy a 10 in these.

Corset Waisted Blazer

Next up, we’re going to talk about this blazer from Karen Millen, and you would have seen it in that previous pic. I’ve had this for quite a while, but it’s still online, so I thought I would include it today just because I really love the shape of this for the office. A lot of my blazers are a little bit oversized. I’ve got boxy blazers, but this one is really fitted, so I feel like it looks really professional. But also, if you wear nothing underneath it, it goes really nice with jeans as well, like a jeans and a cute top outfit. I love when you can get multiple ways out of something like you can wear to the office, but you can also wear it out.

I got this in a size UK eight, and to be honest, it is tight. If I could go back, I’d probably get the 10. I leave these in all my clothes. It is so annoying. I just never cut them out. I pull the tag off and I forget. If you ever see these in my clothes, you’ll know it’s just me being lazy, and I haven’t actually cut it off.

Next, I’m going to talk about this skirt, also from Karen Millen. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve already seen this one, but I felt like I’d include it today because it is such a perfect one for the office. Showing you a little bit closer, we’ve got this gold hardware buckle, and then this crossover detail, which is so flattering. I feel like it’s got the perfect split for the office. It’s not too high, and you can wear it so many different ways. I love this little pocket as well. That’s actually not a pocket, but it looks like one. I got this in a size UK eight, and it fits me perfectly. I do feel like in Karen Millen, I can sometimes get an eight in something, but I can sometimes get a 12. Normally, I do take an eight to ten.

Next up, another midi skirt from Karen Millen. I just feel like Karen Millen does midi skirts very well, obviously because I’ve got fit with them. I just feel like they’re in now at the minute. They’re everywhere, and for the office wear, what’s more perfect than a midi skirt? This one’s very similar to the tan one, but we’ve got it in black, and then you’ve got a button-down detail in the front. You’ve still got that crossover, press buttons instead of the clasp that the other one had.

You’ve still got a really lovely split in the same place. To be honest, it doesn’t come too high, perfect for the office. Again, I got this in a size eight. I know some people don’t really like to wear black in spring/summer, but I’m not one of them. I think you can wear black all year round, and especially for the office, I feel like this with a shirt over like I’ve shown you in the pic is perfect.

So next up, we’re going to talk about the trousers, the same as the navy, but I feel like you can probably see a little bit more of the details in the white. Again, they’ve got the silver clasps. If you can’t see them because they’re inside, I got these in a UK 10. Also, show you a little bit of the back detail as well. They’ve got this like elasticated back. If you’re between sizes, I probably would size down on these, to be honest. They’ve also got the little turn-up on the ends, like the navy ones. It’s quite hard to show you off for, obviously, you’ll see them on in multiple different ways.

Zara Pink Waistcoat

So next up, we’re going to talk about this little waistcoat from Zara, got in a size small. Probably could have gone extra small, to be honest, but I went for the small. And obviously, I know this outfit is not super office-y, but if you wanted to, you could wear a white shirt underneath this if that was a little bit revealing for you. I know some people don’t like having their arms out in the office. Obviously, it has got a bit of a low V, so you can always just pop a shirt underneath this to make it a bit more office vibe. But again, you could wear this after the office as well, which is what I really love. This would also look really cute with jeans. I love this baby pink color for spring. You’ll see me wearing it quite a lot. And I love it with waistcoats, of course. I just think they soak out.

Zara Co Ord & Trousers

Next up, we’re going to talk about this little cord. I’ll talk about the jacket first. I’ve got the trousers coming up next, and this is a new win, and I just love the shoulder pads. I love the, like, it looks like linen and cargo mix. I love the little buttons on it. It is such a vibe. Like, when I put it on, I really loved it. And the trousers are a little bit short for me, but let me know. I think I can actually probably pull them off. I feel like if I was to wear it with trainers as well, it would look pretty cool. I have put a shirt underneath this to make it a little bit more office vibe, but if you did want to wear it out of the office as well, you could just put like a nice white tee, which will also look really cool with the trainers. You could make this super casual. You could make a dress. Yeah, but I wanted to include it because I would have worn this to the office. I got this in a size small. It was perfect. I probably could have got a medium as well, to be honest, but I really like the way the small fitted in this one.

So next up, we’re going to talk about the trousers to go with our little jacket, exactly the same material. They’ve got this side button detail, which I love because I actually really like the buttons on this. Again, the same look. I actually got these in a size medium, and they were a perfect fit. My Zara sizes are all over the place. Like, sometimes I’m an extra small, sometimes I’m a large, sometimes I’m an extra large, sometimes I’m a medium. Like, there’s really no winning Zara sizing, is there? I don’t know about the length on these. Like, let me know what you think. I don’t know. Now I’m looking at the pic, I’m like, “Oh, are they too short?” I think they’re fine. Always I wishful thinking. Good.

Lastly, we have this cute little top with a button-down. This is also from Zara, and I got her in a size small. Again, I feel like you can wear this to the office, but you could wear it out with jeans as well. It would look really cute. This probably will work better if you’ve got a more casual office, but this one’s got a really nice feel to it. It’s like this stretchy material, but it kind of sucks you in. I think it’s super flattering on.
