Summer Haul 2022 *TALL GIRL* | ZARA, HOUSE OF CB, KAREN MILLEN

Hi loves and welcome back to my blog. Today, I’ve got a massive summer haul for you guys, featuring some of the things. I’ve been buying recently and that I’m excited to wear this summer. So, Let’s get started!

KARENMILLEN Compact Stretch Tailored Button Bodice Jumpsuit

Let’s get started. There’s a ton of different brands in this blog. But let’s start with Karen Millen. We’re starting off with this jumpsuit. I’m actually wearing this tonight. I’m going to an event tonight, I’m going to wear this jumpsuit tonight, which I’m excited for.  Look at the color for one, love this color. So it’s a sleeveless top, it’s so flattering, love the little button detail. The trousers have kind of got the line down them and a tiny little bit of flared at the bottom. I would say like straight with a teeny tiny flare. Like, this is just very on-trend. I’ve seen other brands do the same thing. I ordered a similar one in a neutral color. You know, my favorite thing about this is that it’s long enough. So I’m 5’10”.

If you’re new here, I’m quite tall. If you’re a see my blog, you already know because I complain about it all the time. But if you are new here, you wouldn’t know. But I’m quite tall, so I do struggle to get jumpsuits, trousers, and things like that because it is a bit of a struggle for us tall girls. And this is long enough. I was so happy when it came. I’m probably not going to wear it with heels. I’m going to wear it flat. But the fact that it was long enough when I put it on just made me so happy.

KARENMILLEN Compact Stretch Colour Block Biker Skirt

Next up, we have this outfit. It is a skirt and the matching top. It’s not very matching top, but I just put it together as an outfit because I thought it would look cute. We’ve got this little black, it’s kind of like a corset, but it’s nice. This body color material, strapless again with a gold zip at the back. I got this in a size small. So that was the top, and then I wanted to wear it with this skirt. I just love the colors again on this one.

This blue color, I love this color with the white and the black. I just thought this is very summer vibes, I thought this would be a good day-to-night. So, I feel like I could pull this off as a day vibe with some sandals, or then I could wear it with some strappy heels in the night. I think it goes really well. It’s such nice quality on these. They feel really heavy and good quality. I think you can always rely on Karen Millen for some good quality pieces, I just love this. It’s like a whole outfit.

Next up, we have these trousers, I wanted to include these trousers because I’ve been wearing them for so long. They kept selling out online, and I literally had to wait so long to get them in because I saw that they were long enough on another girl I know,  she’s quite tall like me. When I looked at the picture, I was like, “Are they long enough for her?” meaning they’ll be long enough for me. So I was so excited to get these, and again, they are long enough. I’m not wearing them with heels, but I just feel like I’ll probably wear these flat anyway.

I feel like it’s quite rare. I bought another pair of white trousers off ourselves recently, but they’re super see-through, I really wanted to get something that I could dress up in the night. I feel like these are perfect because they are quite heavy, quite thick. Again, you can just tell they’re really good quality. I was excited when I got these, I got these in a size eight. So I’ll be wearing these in the summer, definitely be getting my wear out of these ones.

ZARA BNWT Black Silk Long Jewel Belt Dress

Next up, we’re going to do the Zara number.  This is actually from the Kate Moss collection with Zara. I did one the other white dress as well with the diamonds on it, but that was sold out. It’s been sold out for ages, and this one came back in stock in small, so I grabbed it quickly. I love, love it. It just feels so chic and stylish, I just love a black summer dress. I don’t believe that you can’t wear black in summer.

When I go on holidays, I love to wear like a long black dress in the evenings. It’s this light material. It’s not super thick, but it is thicker. It’s double-lined on the chest area and then the arms. I love the little buttons on the sleeves here. Very low-cut. If you watch my other blog, you’ll know I found a very low-cut bra. So now I feel like I can wear low-cut stuff over and over again because previously I wouldn’t have bought anything low-cut. But now I’ve got my new wonder bra or wherever it’s gold. I love a low-cut dress or anything low-cut now. It’s got this little belt on it, which is why it’s a little bit more expensive. It’s got the little shoulder pads in there as well. Again, this one is long enough for me, not with heels, but with flats. I just feel like it’s so nice for evenings in the summer.

ZARA Halterneck Waistcoat White

Next Outfit from Zara again is this little short squat. Top, Now I’ve sort of been put off buying shorter things from Zara recently because obviously I’m tall, so I struggle. But I don’t mind the skirt because it’s got shorts underneath the skirt, so it makes me feel a little bit more. I feel a bit uncomfortable if it’s too short, whether it’s a squat. I feel like you can pull it off a little bit more personally. So this is the little squat very cute, just plain white. I thought classic, can’t have too many whites. It’s still got the really nice buttons, it’s quite weighted. Like, it doesn’t feel cheap. It feels good quality.

ZARA Denim Cut Out Dress

Next up, we have this little number from Zara. Got it in white. I was hoping it came in another color, but it doesn’t. It’s just denim material, so it’s quite thick, but it’s got a lot of stretch as well, which is good. A little zip down there just to be able to get it on because it wasn’t easy. Then you’ve got this little skirt. It’s basically just this weighted denim material with a little cutout and a little scoot. I love it, even though it’s too short. So let me know what you think. Normally, if something was that short, I probably would have sent it back, but I just loved it so much.

Black Long Dress

Next up, we have this holiday number. This is actually from a new brand called a Factor. How heavy that is. So basically, it’s got some tool in the skirt, which is what makes it make that noise. I’ll show you quickly inside. So it’s got all this tool in the skirt, which makes it puffy. Then you’ve got a lining, look at this. Then you’ve got a lining inside, so the tool doesn’t actually touch your legs. So it doesn’t make it itchy, which I hate when you have tool in a dress and it touches your skin. I can’t stand it.

So with this, it’s got cute little bows on the shoulders. And I actually saw this pop up on my Instagram explore page, and somebody was wearing this dress,  I was like, I love this. I just think it’s super cute. I feel like it’s never gonna go out of style.

& Other Stories Crop Blouse With Puff Sleeves And Tie Side In Beige Linen

This is actually from & Other Stories. It was basically this with some little white shorts. You could also wear this with long white trousers, it would be nice too. Love that little tie-up there. I got this in a size eight, fits perfectly. This is probably going to be a timeless, very light and airy. I think I’ll get my wear out of this this summer, it’ll be something I’ll keep.

Charlotte Rose Print Corset Midi Dress

Next up, we’re going to talk about House of CB. I’ve got little dresses from there. I love House of CB. I have so much of my wardrobe from them. I just think I re-wear the same stuff. Like, I’ve got a dress there from maybe four years ago that I still wear, and admittedly, they’re not things you wear every day. I feel like if you’ve got a nice occasion in the summer or you’ve got a little event in the day, these are super cute.

Basically, this one is one of their newer prints. It’s got a little lace trim on the caps. I’ve got the smaller cup size, but they now do a bigger cup size as well, which is so good. They’ve got little bones, tiny little bones. This is how big the bones are, it’s still comfortable. Some of them have got bigger bones in, but I prefer the little ones. It just makes it a little bit more comfy on the belly, so you know I love comfort. This is the Charlotte Rose print. So cute, absolutely love this one. It’s very flattering. I got this in a size small. So this is the Charlotte Rose print.

ORIANA White Ribbed Knit Strapless Midi Dress

Lastly, another House of CB number. Love this dress, so flattering. I love it. Honestly, I took it on holidays with me, I felt so nice in it. I love this crisp white, it’s so heavy. It’s not ideal for your suitcase. I took this in my hand luggage when I went away because it is quite heavy, very structured and it’s so comfy as well. Like once you’ve got it on, it’s not the easiest to get on, but once you’ve got it on, it’s super comfy. It’s got this little bone here, so this keeps the shape, which I think is so smart. Then I got this in a size small. It’s super long on me. I just love the midi dresses from there, they are so flattering. That is the final dress.
