Hi Loves and welcome back to my Blog. Today we have got date night outfits, date night vibes. The weather is kind of awkward now. It’s spring, but it’s a little bit colder, so I thought it would be good to bring some date night outfit inspiration, as I personally always struggle with date night outfits. I don’t know why. Even if it’s a more casual night out with my friends or a date night, I never know what to wear. So I’m always rummaging through my wardrobes. I thought it would be a good idea to do a little Blog on it.
Oversized-fit Blazer & Straight Side Slit Pants
First up, we’re going to talk about one of my favorite things from this blog, and that’s this pink suit. I’ve styled this with a little pink top as well, which I’ll talk about next. But first up, let’s just talk through the suit. I do a lot of integrating some color into my wardrobe, and I’m absolutely in love with this bright pink. I feel like it’s such a good date night vibe. It makes you feel a little bit more dressed up instead of a more casual outfit, which we have got. I feel like this is one if you really want to stand out. So the blazer has shoulder pads. It’s a little bit oversized, so you don’t really need to size up. I feel like that’s how it looks so good with the trousers because it has a little bit of a boxy effect. It looks so good thrown over the shoulder as well. I’ll actually pop a picture that I posted over on Instagram of this just folded over the shoulder.
I thought it looked so good. The trousers have a straight leg and then they’ve got a little split on the bottom, and I really like a split on the bottom because I’m tall. If you’re new here, I’m five foot ten, so sometimes I can get away with trousers that are a little bit short for me if they’ve got the split because I feel like it just works better with a split. Obviously, I know this is a date night blog, but I feel like you could also wear this suit so well dressed down as well, like with a white T-shirt under and a pair of trainers just for a shopping day for spring.
Fine Knitted Cropped Flower Detail Sweater
Next up, another favorite. I actually saw this top months ago in red on the Naked Fashion website, and I couldn’t get it because it was sold out. Obviously, now in spring, they’ve launched a new color version of this, so I couldn’t wait to pick this one up. I think it’s so, so cute with the denim. I feel like it would also be really nice with jeans. It’s a cute top, perfect for date night. If I don’t know what to wear, I’ll always do just like jeans and a cute top. I’ll give you a little bit of a closer look because you’ve got this floral detail in here, and I feel like this is very in at the minute. But I also don’t feel like it’s going to go out. I love the little cropped look on it, and I just feel like there’s so many different ways I can wear this. Also, a bit more casual.
I could probably just do some white wide-leg trousers. That would look really nice or a pair of trainers when the weather comes. I feel like I’m gonna get a ton of wear out of this. So I got this in a size small. I would say it fits perfectly. It also does come in another color as well, but I think the other color is black, and for some reason, I just loved like a pop of color with this one. And also, it does go perfectly with our suit, doesn’t it? Like underneath, it looks like it’s like a three-piece co-ord.
Denim Wide Maxi Skirt
Next up, we’re going to talk about the denim skirt from that pic. I feel like denim midi skirts are everywhere right now, but it’s really hard to get a good one. I feel like you’ve got to get the split in the right place and the perfect amount of split. For some reason, I’ve tried so many on and left this bit in the back or it’s not high enough. There’s so many things that make a midi skirt look really, really good, and I feel like this one’s perfect. It’s also super soft and a bit stretchy as well, so it’s really comfy. I’ll show you a little bit closer.
It’s like this Leicester denim, which I think looks really good with the pink, especially for spring vibes. I feel like it would look nice with like a white bodysuit or a white T-shirt as well. Obviously, for date night, I feel like a midi skirt is a really good one for the minute because you can always just style it with something you’ve already got. It’s kind of like jeans and a cute top but it’s again a midi skirt and a cute top.
Wide Sleeve Knitted Maxi Dress
Next up, we’re going to talk about this knit dress. Now, this is a similar style to what they did last year, but last year’s one sold out straight away because I couldn’t get it. So again, I was fast to check out on this one. I got this in a size small. I would say the fit is perfect, and I feel like for a date night, this is a really nice one because it’s so comfy as well. Especially when you’re going for dinner, whenever me and Claude will go for dinner, I hate wearing something that’s too tight because I know we’re gonna eat. So I obviously want to be really comfy, and it’s so comfy. I love the sleeves; they sort of go out a little bit at the end.
The pattern is so nice, and the length on this again is perfect. Obviously, I am tall, so sometimes Maxi midi dresses can look a little bit of an awkward length on me, but this one actually works really well. I think you can pair this with boots or shoes, like wherever you fancy. But I do think this is a really good one to dress down as well—come with trainers and a trench over or some flats. So many different ways you can wear this one.
Rose Detail Maxi Dress
This one’s quite tight. I remember sizing down knowing this because I really wanted it to kind of suck me in, and I didn’t want it to be loose. So I actually got a size extra small in this one, which is completely different from anything I ordered, but I knew I wanted it to pull it off, and it did. So extra small was perfect for me. This one also has a lot of stretch, and also I wanted to show you this: this flower actually comes off. It’s detachable, so if you did have anything else red or something that you wanted to put the flower on, it could work really well on that as well. I’ve actually got a couple of red tops, and I’ve got one with a really high neck, so I think having that detachable could be really cute on there as well.
Zara Black Top
Next up, we are going fully on the jeans and cute top vibe. We’ve got this little top from Zara, and I feel like when I’ve got no idea what to wear, I always just go for a cute top and jeans and some heels, and then it’s me. And I also think this would look really nice with the blazer as well. Obviously, we haven’t quite got the weather for your arms out yet, but it’s coming, it’s hopefully coming soon. I picked this up recently, and I just really love the way it looked online.
It’s got these little buttons down the front, which I think is super flattering, and then it’s quite long in the body, so it looks really cute over jeans. I feel like there’s so many different ways you can wear this, but I really do love a jeans and a black top outfit. I know it might be basic, but I just feel like when you don’t know what to wear, this is just a really easy go-to.
3-Piece Zara Outfit
So next up, I feel like I’m gonna have to make some room for this one because there are three pieces to this outfit. I recently ordered this from Zara. I’m actually wearing it outside yet, but how nice is this little cropped jacket? I feel like for spring, this is so cute. Again, going for more of a casual jeans and cute top vibe because I feel like I do wear that quite a lot. I don’t know, I feel like I probably dress up maybe like once a month properly, maybe twice. But then all the other times, I just go in mom jeans and a cute top or something like this suit or something a bit more casual. In this outfit, we’ve got this little white top from Zara. We’ve got this white top from Zara underneath just because I wanted the cream one. And then you’ve got this all over it, which I feel like looks so, so good.
It’s got some shoulder pads, and again, you could wear this for a daytime vibe as well if you popped it with trainers. But obviously, I’ve just dressed it up for the pic because it’s a date night vibe. And then you’ve got these mom jeans, which I actually got a couple of weeks ago, and I’ve been wearing them so, so much. And when I’m going for a date, I do go for a mom jean. I don’t know why; it’s either a mom jean or like what I’ve got on today. I always go for a high rise. I never go for a low rise if it’s like date night. And I’ve no idea why; I just think this is probably my comfort zone—mom jeans.
Zara Denim Shirt
So this outfit was the only one I wasn’t sure about, so let me know what you think on this one. I personally would wear this on a date night, but I don’t know—let me know what you think. I know coming to Spring, some people are not wearing boots anymore, but I personally am, obviously because I live in London, so I’m still wearing the boots. We’ve got to wear that is the way, boots, basically. So I thought I would include this. Again, I purchased this recently from Zara, and I do love it so damn sure. It’s just got a little tie at the front.
If you follow me on Instagram, I’m not going to talk about it too much because I have already mentioned it a few times on there because I just love it, and I think this tie just makes it a little bit more dressy than a normal denim shirt. Perfect for a date night. You could do this as a double denim look as well, which will also look so good. I actually featured this in a reel over on my Insta with a double denim block, and I loved it.
So in a quick peek, I’ve popped it on with this black skirt from Karen Millen. I bought this a couple of weeks ago, but I feel like this is a good one for date night as well. Obviously, because I’m tall, I haven’t really got that many black mini skirts that are a nice length on me, but I feel like this one’s perfect.

And lastly, if you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen this on there. I actually purchased this because I was thinking about office outfits, and then when it came, I was like, this is so not an office outfit. There’s no way I can include this in the office blog. I ordered it with the best intent, but it turns out it’s more of a date night outfit. I feel like this is everywhere at the minute, like this cargo Safari vibe. I don’t know what you’d call it, but it’s like a little dress. It actually came with a big thick belt as well, but I took the belt off straight away because I had another belt that went better.
I actually got this in a size medium, but I should have got a small, and that’s why the tag is still on. I’m actually gonna return and send this one back for a small. But I wanted to include it because I think it’s really nice, and again, it’s very in at the moment. Like this Safari vibe. I love the color on it. I think it actually looks really good with the boots as well.
