Hi loves and welcome back to my blog today we’ve got 9 summer outfits lookbook so they’re kind of smart casual outfits where they’ve got a trip coming up whether you just need inspiration at the minute hopefully these outfits will be able to inspire you a little bit if you are new here do not forget to subscribe to my newsletter and let’s get started!
Naked Fashion
So the first couple of outfits are from naked fashion we’re going to start strong with one of my favorite outfits from this list, loving chords at the minute and I love the color on this one I feel like chords are just a really good way of looking really put together without actually having to put that much effort into styling up the outfit the main thing I loved about this code when I saw it online was the color I just thought it was so stunning and so different as well I haven’t seen that much this color and this green is like a lime green and it just looks so good on especially like with the tan give you a little bit of a close-up of the material they’ve kind of got like this crinkle in the material which I think it makes it look a lot more expensive.
I feel like this would also look so good with like a basket bag I feel like there’s so many different ways you could wear this and you could also dress it up as well for like an evening on holiday I did actually wear this the other day out with my mother we went to Seoul Farmers for the day and it was just a daytime Vibe I wanted like a really a nice pearl necklace like pearl necklace and some chunky earrings with it and I thought it looked so nice as well.
We have another cord I am obsessed with them for summer so I had to include some this one’s a little bit more cozy I think than the other one the other one was more elegant but I love this I think it’s so so pretty for summer I’ll give you a little bit of a close-up just so you can see the material I love this blue and white part and then you’ve got this white lace trim which is so cute I started here with just some tan accessories and pop tan shows were there and then this little basket bag
White Dress
I’ve got another favorite from this list it is this white little dress I feel like a white dress it’s just a must-have in summer and this fitted me so well and also it’s got the little lace trim as well very similar to the blue one we just saw it just makes it so cute and now I’ve styled this with the cowboy boots and I think it looks so cute with this dress like a white summer dresses color my boots I think is such a Vibe I actually sized down in this one I got a 34 in the other bits I’ve got a 36 but I did size down on this and I’m so glad I did because it fits perfectly now I actually wore this actually last night I went to a Lana Del Rey concert and I wore this as like a chunky knit over in the cowboy boots.
Naked Fashion Top
Next up we have this little top from naked fashion and there are a ton of these like two-tone tops I’ve actually got one on today as well this is also from naked fashion and I love them I just feel like they elevate the look rather than just wearing like a plain white or plain black vest I really do love these so I’ve popped this on with a silk slip skirt and I love these skirts for summer I think they look so elegant I’ve actually got a cream one that I’m going to talk about a little bit later on and I feel like they again are super versatile you could also wear this to the office.
I think this would be a really nice office look for summer or on holidays it’s giving like city break vibes I would just wear this if I was going for lunch around london as well I feel like it’s just a very easy easy way to look elegant I’ve started this way super simple today with the black sandals but I feel like I could have also popped like a black belt really just to maybe dress it up a little bit more and maybe for the evening you could put a little cropped blazer over.
Knitted Crop
Knitted little crop with a backless detail and a high neck—I love a high neck in summer. I don’t think I would wear this out in the daytime, but I feel like this is such nice evening wear. If you’re going for dinner or on a summer date night, this would look really nice. So, I popped it on with white shorts. These white shorts are so versatile; I feel like a white pair of shorts is a must-have in your wardrobe for summer. There are so many different ways you can wear them, and I actually reach for these shorts so much. An all-white or all-cream outfit really does work well in summer. Yeah, definitely. I think when I wear this next, I’m probably going to switch out the accessories for a more neutral tone.
Knitted Cardigan
This is the last piece from Naked Fashion we’ve got—this little knitted cardigan. Again, it actually comes in a few colors, but I don’t know why I’m really reaching for pink at the moment. I feel like it’s all over my Instagram feed, and I do love wearing colors in the summer. Although I have a lot of neutral colors, I love a pop of color now and again. If you watched my packing Vlog, you would have seen that I had all neutral outfits, and then I thought, you know what, I actually need some color. I need to insert some color into this trip.
And then, if you saw my Ibiza trip, I actually did wear so much color, and I love wearing color, especially on holidays. So, this is a little bit thicker, probably more for an evening look or maybe for a cooler day like today in London. I think it’s 21 degrees, so I think it would be fine to wear this. It’s not that warm; there is some sun, but it’s very cloudy. So, I’ve popped it on with some jeans and just about like this. It’s a super chilled, maybe like shopping or for lunch, or it’s just like running errands. I feel like this is just something you could reach for, and I just love the pop of color.
Button Dress From Coast
Next outfit is made up of this dress from Coast. Now, if you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen I purchased this dress from Coast. I’ll show you the original in the picture to the left, but I actually changed all the buttons on it. I saw Sofia Richie’s post a long time ago, and I kind of got inspired by the dress. It was Chanel, but obviously, Chanel’s not in my budget right now—manifesting it for the future. But I thought this looked so similar, and I thought I could really tailor it to my body just to make it look more expensive.
I do find that if you tailor things to fit you perfectly, even if they aren’t from the most expensive shop, it always makes it come across as more expensive just because it fits you well. And then I actually just changed out the buttons. I took off all the other buttons and added these, and I honestly think it makes the dress look so much more expensive and so different as well. Those plain white buttons were really not doing it for me. I mean, if you’re a subscriber, you know how much I go on about having nice patterns on things, and yeah, the plain white buttons weren’t it. But I feel like now it looks so much better. I actually wore this the other day for a date night with me and Club.
Date Night
Next up, we’ve got another date night vibe. This shirt is actually from River Island, and I just love it. When I saw this online with the flowers, I thought, oh my God, this is stunning. I thought it was so pretty. Then you’ve got the tie, so sophisticated. It looks so much more expensive than it actually was. And then I’ve paired that with this skirt, again, a slip skirt, just cream. This is also from River Island. The whole outfit is actually River Island, and I think it looks so good together. But again, I feel like these are two pieces you could wear in so many different ways.
The shoes I’m actually wearing are from Naked Fashion, and the bag is again, that same one from Etsy. I just think it looks so sophisticated. I love an all-cream look, like I said. All neutrals look so good—looks so much more expensive and so much more chic than it actually was. I think this whole outfit was maybe 60 or 70 pounds, and I think it looks a lot more than that.
Playsuit
Lastly, another fave is this little playsuit from Sandra. I actually picked this up in Vista Village, and I’ve worn it so many times since I got it. I’ll actually pop a clip of me wearing it the other day. I put it on with a blazer because it was a little bit cooler in London that day, and just black accessories, and it looked so good. It’s so light because it’s this linen material, and then you’ve got a bow at the back. So, I actually sized up on this one and got a size—I think it was a 10—and the eight fitted me, but I felt like I wanted to get a little bit bigger just because you have got that tie in the back where you can really cinch it. It just gave it this looser effect and then tightened the waist, which I love.
The buttons on this are so cute. I actually can’t wait to take this on holidays because it is so light. It literally feels like you’re not wearing anything when you’ve got it on. I know that sounds really strange, but it’s such a light material. Oh, caught in the hanger. It’s just so comfortable and just so perfect for summer, and that is it for…
